About me:

Over the past 34 years, I’ve built my career around craft and detail. I started at 16 with decorative painting and woodworking, I worked as a commercial paint estimator, concrete project management, I learned all facets of home construction while still working as an artist before getting into commercial project management as a carpenter installing smoke and fire curtains. Now I've got over 25 years of high-end finishing—from Venetian plasters to flawless spray coatings as well as a trove of knowledge.

My path to upholstery started with my own boat, where my love for precision woodworking and building with fabrics came together. After refining my marine techniques with a local Charleston builder, I opened my shop on James Island.

While custom marine canvas and upholstery are my core focus, I’m always open for the right project. I regularly take on:
